Blow drying tips
Blow drying your hair is perhaps the best method to straighten out your curls without treating them chemically ad it can be easily done at home, provided you do it the right way. Carelessness in handling the heat on your hair may damage them permanently. Here are a few tips that you can use to blow dry your hair.
1, Towel dry hair use a large tooth comb or a pick to gently comb out tangles. A leave in conditioner is also recommended for hair that tangles easy.
2, Apply any thermal protector hair product that protects them from heat, especially the hair ends.
3, Rub some straightening balm in your palms and massage it in your hair evenly.
4, Pull your hair into three sections, two at the sides and one at the back. Clip the two sides up.
5, Select a small portion of the hair from the unclipped section to straighten.
6, Using a thick, round brush and beginning at the roots, gently pull the brush through the hair to the ends while blow-drying it. Pull the hair away from your head, stretching and straightening it as you go.
7, Allow hair to cool before removing your brush from a blow-dried section of hair. This will make your blow-dry last longer as it is like using tongs or setting rollers. Leave the hair as it falls from the brush, only running your fingers or brush through it when all the hair is finished and cooled off.
8, It is important that your blow-dryer be light enough to hold easily. Holding your arms over your head can be tiring.
Your hairspray should be strong enough to hold your style without leaving your hair crunchy.
9, After you finish drying you can use the cool button with your head flipped over, or use some light hair spray to add
volume.
