Hair Problems
Dandruff
Dandruff could result from a dry, or an oily scalp. The skin of the scalp has many layers. Cells start growing in the dermis at the bottom, and eventually they form a layer of dead cells on the surface of the skin. Normally, these dead cells fall off in tiny flakes, which we don't even notice. Washing or brushing your hair helps to get rid of the flakes.
Treatments
1, First, if you have oily hair, using a gentle shampoo every day will get rid of the extra oil.
2, Avoid hair products like hair gels. These hold on to the tiny flakes, making bigger lumps as well.
3,Eat a healthy diet, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
See if you can have a bit more zinc in your diet. Zinc is one of the things that seems to help keep skin healthy. Food sources for zinc include egg yolks, fish, meat, soybeans, sunflower seeds and whole grains. Avoid fatty foods and red meat.
4, Use an anti-dandruff shampoo once a week, or twice, depending on the severity of the dandruff. Oil and steam your hair once a week.
5, Try Head and Shoulders. If it doesn't work, try a medicated dandruff shampoo like Selsun, which is very effective. Use Selsun just once a week, because it is strong.
6, The best thing to do is to keep the scalp clean, and do oil massage twice in a week.
