How to apply Masacara

First apply it on the top side of the upper lashes, stroking the color down. Then on the underside of the top lashes, stroking the color up. Avoid using the wand on the lower lashes for the daytime; do so only for an event evening. Apply two coats. Let the first coat dry completely, then apply the second coat. Two thin coats look more natural than one thick coat.

Mascara gives a finishing touch to your eye makeup and must cover the lashes from roots to the tips. . Mascara is applied from the underside by holding the wand horizontally parallel to the eyelid.

Do not rub eyes to remove the mascara but use the eye makeup solvent instead. Black mascara can be used by anybody at anytime.

Use black-brown mascara and usually a curved brush. I find that I can control the application better using the curvy part of the brush tip and the brush tip stays away from my eye socket area that I just finished applying shadow to. I apply mascara 2 or 3 times throughout my makeup session, letting each coat dry before applying the next coat.

use a lash comb - Use an eyelash comb to separate the wet lashes base, wiggling the brush & then comb the mascara to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand.

Try a clean mascara wand. Sweep a clean, fresh mascara wand through lashes when they're wet. Don't worry, you don't have to buy them. When you finish a mascara, clean the wand in a capful of eye makeup remover, then wash with soap & dry. Keep it clean by washing it whenever you wash your makeup tools.

Powder under the eye before applying mascara - You should apply a good amount of excess powder so that when you are applying mascara, you can dust off the excess and the droppings that landed there.

If you have dark circles then you should avoid using colored mascara on the lower lashes.
