How to make and apply a mask for Sensitive skin
Always test the mask, particularly if you have a sensitive skin. Apply a small amount behind your ear or inside of the elbow, wait for at least 30 minutes, then wash off. If there is no adverse reaction in the next 24 hours, then only apply the mask on your face.
1, Warm a small pot of honey in a double boiler, then test a small amount on your hand to make sure it's not too hot. When warm, apply the honey generously over your entire face. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm, then cool water.
2, Tablespoon of Rose Clay 1-2 teaspoons of Avocado Oil 1 drop of Rose Oil 1 drop of Roman Chamomile Oil Use water, if necessary, to make a paste. Use a little more clay if too runny.
3, 1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold), ½ cup oatmeal (any type of basic oatmeal works here), Mix the ingredients together & apply to the skin for 15 minutes. Wash off mask with a warm washcloth. Extra tip: This mask works well for other skin types as well. For oily skin, add a couple drops of lime juice. For dry skin, mix in a couple tablespoons of honey.
4, 2 teaspoons cooked or canned pumpkin, pureed (see above for benefits) one-half teaspoon honey (humectant, regenerative) one-quarter teaspoon milk (or soymilk)(alpha hydroxyl acid, enzymes digest skin cells), Combine the ingredients for your facemask. Mix gently and apply to your face avoiding the eye area. Rest and relax for 10-15 minutes while your pumpkin pie facemask gently exfoliates, nourishes and conditions your face. Rinse with warm water and apply the appropriate moisturizer for your skin type.
